The type of precious metal that is used to pair with your diamond will set the stage for a thoughtful and radiant masterpiece.
PRECIOUS METAL
Although 24k gold is considered to be the purest gold – it is far too soft and malleable to be practical for use as engagement rings and every day jewellery. On the other hand, 18k gold is made up of 75% gold and 25% alloys containing either copper, nickel, zinc, or silver. It is an attractive material that is almost as pure as 24k gold, but with the durability suitable for a wide range of lifestyles. 18k (750) gold is also hypoallergenic, meaning to say that you are less likely to have an allergic reaction while wearing our jewelry!
We are strong believers that choosing a fine setting for your diamond is absolutely essential. This is why we only use 18k (750) solid white or yellow gold precious metals. We do not gold plate for the sole reason that it tarnishes and corrodes overtime, and only solid gold can withstand the test of time.
18k (750) gold is simply purer in composition, more saturated in color, and more valuable in jewelry. In order to prove its purity, all of our jewelry has a 750 legal stamp inscribed on it.
